Set Back

Month Updates:

The month has been a pretty good one so far, other than the couple days that I've felt sick.
Since starting the year, I've started to get up at a normal hour and my internal body alarm has started to adjust along with the kittens too. Every morning I get up and feed my fur babies before starting my daily tasks (brushing my teeth, making the bed, getting dressed, etc.), and if I am not up within five minutes of my alarm going off they become my alarms and they won't stop meowing and crawling all over me until I get up and feed them.
Along with getting up I've been going to the gym Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the week, and walking shelter dogs on the weekends to help improve my physical health, but over the last week I have failed to get going and exercise and I can feel the negative impacts it is having. This feeling is going to be my drive to get up and go even when I don't have the energy or the desire too, so I see this as a positive.

The Set Back:

The title of the post is really the reason I have deiced to publish an entry today.
Yesterday (Friday) we had some kind of crappy weather come in, and I made the decision to let my body rest and pick up on my morning routine in the new week, but I still wanted to feel like I had a productive day.
Instead of laying in bed (I definitely wanted to), I got up and checked to see if it was safe to go out. I deemed it decently safe, and set out on a journey to find some starter make-up for my change challenge.
In preparation for my project I have been watching beauty and make-up videos on YouTube and Facebook and come across a user, Maria Gloria, that made me feel like I am going to succeed in this challenge.
The specific make-up I was looking for was Believe Beauty and is sold at Dollar Generals. I wanted to test this brand because of its relatively inexpensive price point, and all of the positive reviews that I had seen on the products.
It took me three stores to find the products, but I was able find products for the whole face which I was not expecting. When I got home, I gathered all of my make-up and other products and sat down to film and edit my first solo YouTube video.
As I was getting ready to get all of my editing software up and running, I hit a brick wall. When I went to open my program, it started giving me a systems error saying that I was missing a file from my video drive on my computer.
I spent twenty minutes trying to update my drive, uninstalled and reinstalled my editing program three times and rebooted my computer twice, and I still couldn't solve my issues. I took to my chat groups to see if there was a more tech savvy person that could possibly help, one person came through for me and helped me through some issues.
An hour later, we finally found the problem, it really slowed down the roll and I'm struggling with it.

The problem?

My computer is almost 11 years (got it in high school and his name is Grandpa), and has finally shown his age. It's running out of RAM and the video driver dose not have enough cores to be able to run my program anymore, or something happened and some of them got deleted (not sure there), and there are a couple other issues.

Solution?

I have to purchase a new computer that is more geared toward video editing or gaming. Lots of money that I don't have at the moment.

Sum Up

I have to do some research and searching for a computer that will work for me, but not cost a heap ton of money. Grandpa is still working, and will stay with me until he completely dies. He works well with general computer things like Microsoft programs and running Chrome.
This means that my YouTube channel and make-up challenge is being put on hold until I can get the most important piece of the project.
