Jinxx and Friday

My Beautiful Babies

Jinxx

When I adopted Jinxx I was living with my best friend and sister, but not long before this while we were celebrating our first full year in our new home we lost her precious Tuxedo Mister Mistoffelees. We both dealt with his loss by adopting another cat, my sister adopted another handsome tuxie cat and named him Bandit; after he got settled in the house Jinxxy came along.
We had kept in touch with the foster lady that Bandit was with, and she also had Jinxx. When I went to visit this little kitten for the first time, she immediately came up to me and wanted to be picked up. While we were visiting the foster lady let one of her foster puppies back into the house from outside; it was a 7 week old St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees/Mastiff mix, and already stood at my hip height; when he came in Jinxx freaked out and started to shake in my arms. The foster lady told me that the puppy just wanted to play, but because of their size differences she thought that he was trying to eat her; she also gave me how she came to have Jinxx.
The foster lady not only took in animals that needed to be fostered, but she also looked after stray and feral animals in the area; she was looking after a feral momma cat that has just had a litter of kittens, she had went out and left some food, when she went back the next time she found that fox/wolf had killed the mamma and the whole litter minus a tiny little one. She took the kitten in to keep her safe.
She has so many nick names. Jinxxy, Jinxxy Roo, Roo Roo, Fatty, Fluff Butt (when she gets scared or super excited her tail gets super puffy)
I adopted this little cutie on February 26, 2018. She was 11 weeks old and a feisty little stinker, and her birthday is December 12, which means she just turned 2 years old!

Friday

Friday was dropped off at a no kill shelter when no one wanted him. The shelter named him Friday because he was dropped off on a Friday, and they estimated that he was approximately 11 weeks old. We decided to foster and went to a class at the shelter; at the end of the night they asked if we wanted to take a foster kitten home that night, and even though we were not planning on when we left the house.
After having him for a couple days and Jinxx had stopped hissing him and started to treat him like her little brother, we fell in love with the cutie! Per the shelters policies we could not adopt him until he was fixed, so we waited and the weekend after he came back from the vet we took him back to the shelter and officially signed all of his papers and became his parents on September 8, 2019!
He only has a couple nicknames, but his main one is Fri-fri and sometimes piggy pants; he really likes to eat and will push his sister out of her food dish to eat her food.
We have not had Friday long enough to celebrate a birthday with him, but on May 21 the little man will turn a year old!!!

Siblings

Jinxx and Friday absolutely love each other. Jinxx took Friday under her wing, and showed him how to be a kitten, but also how to stand up for himself and not get pushed around. They normally don't cuddle together like this, so when they did I couldn't help but snap a picture.
