A new week, a new start

Last week was really rough on my body; with just starting all of the changes I'm making to my lifestyle and health by body was starting to feel some of the effects of them.

Recap of last week:

Monday-
I got up on time, went to the gym and tanned and ran some errands. Everything was fine, and I felt     great!
Tuesday-
Got up when my alarm went off, cleaned the house, and used the end of the day to relax and enjoy       some peace and quiet.
Wednesday-
I set my alarms the Tuesday night, but when I got up I realized that I set them for an hour later,           which meant that I was not up at my normal time. I pulled myself out of bed, did my morning             routine and got dressed. I was in the process of gathering my things to head to the gym, when I           started feeling light headed and dizzy and then sick. The sick feeling finally went away eleven a.m.     so I grabbed a light snack and again started to gathering my gym equipment, and it hit again. I             decided after the second round of nausea that I was not going to go to the gym, but instead take it       easy.
Thursday-
Tuesday and Thursday are my rest days from the gym, so after I got up from bed, I didn't get up on      time, I finished up the last of my weekly chores and rested. I was still feeling sick from the day            before, but today I was feeling super tired and my whole body ached all over. I made it through,          but definitely didn't feel like myself.
Friday-
I didn't sleep at all Thursday night (maybe like three hours) because every time I would lay down I      would have painful heartburn and feel nauseous; because of my lack of sleep I did not actually            hear my alarms go off, but I turned them off in my sleep. I was super tired, but I knew that if I got      up moved around I would possibly feel better. I voted to let my body rest, so I didn't go to the              gym, but I still needed to do some stuff. We were supposed to get some bad weather the night              before, all it really did was rain and then slightly freeze, which meant that I was able to get out of        the house and go make-up hunting. After M got off work I met her at the shelter and we picked up      our new foster kitten/cat! And lastly, I found out that I needed a new computer (I posted about it          Saturday- post called "Set Back").
Saturday-
My wife and I had breakfast with one of her many aunts and uncles, and then we came home to          clean the rest of the house for the week. M took a nap, while I worked on getting information              about a new computer and gathered a possible list of items I still needed for my makeup challenge.      Later in the after we took a trip down to the shelter, and walked a couple dogs, talked to the                women in charge of the cat program, and then enjoyed a decent date night meal at a local                    restaurant that is closing one of its locations.
Sunday-
We got up a little early and took a little trip up north, so that I could pick up a four drawer rolling        organizer for my makeup, and then we came home to clean and organize the unfinished section of      our basement. This area is where we keep empty boxes (great for gifts and shipping things), our          extra supply of household items (trash bags, toilet paper, napkins, etc.), and where we store all of        our tools and the like and it was in desperate need of being reorganized. That night we went and          had our weekly Sunday night meal with M's parents and at least one of her siblings.

Summary and Notes:

The pretty much wraps up last week. Some of it was good, some not good, and other parts awful, but we made it into this week (Wooooow!)

Even though last week was rough I have started this week on a good/positive note! I got up on time, went to the gym and got my groceries for the next two weeks! Other than the light snowing we got this afternoon, and the crap-tastic weather predicted for the end of the week, I'm going to keep my chin up and keep chugging along.
